The Teranga Chair is multifunctional and responsive. It presents a design response to the problems of limited space, waste, depletion of natural resources and our growing alienation from the objects around us in a society which is increasingly driven by the desires for novelty and abundance.

Different postures are obtained simply by rolling the chair, supporting a range of activities - reading, watching TV, working, eating, relaxing. The playfulness and flexibility of the rotational movements reinforce the relationship between chair and user.
